RAMADAN - IMPACT REPORT 2026

 

Introduction

This report presents the impact and financial utilization of funds for the Ramadan humanitarian program implemented by Al Sadaqah Jariyah Humanitarian Organization (SJHO). The initiative focused on providing iftar meals, distributing Ramadan food packs, Donation of Qur’an and constructing a borehole to improve access to clean water in underserved communities.

 

Program Objectives

1.  Support vulnerable households with Ramadan food packs.

2.  Provide nutritious iftar meals to fasting individuals.

3.  Improve access to clean drinking water through a borehole project.

4.  Construction of Borehole to improve access to clean water.

5.  Promote compassion and solidarity within underserved communities.

Activity Implementation

Iftar Meal Distribution

SJHO organized daily iftar meal distributions to support fasting individuals, including orphans, low-income families, elderly persons, and daily wage workers at Kaduna, Mafara, Gusau, Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Minna, Kebbi, Zaria, Osun and Abuja.

Ramadan Food Pack Distribution

Ramadan food packs were distributed to vulnerable households in Jigawa, Mafara, and Kaduna to support suhoor and iftar for the last 10 days of the month.

Ramadan Qur’an Donation

Hard copies of Qur’ans were distributed to Central Mosque in Katsina as Sadaqah Jariyah for All for the use of all.

 

Borehole Water Project

A borehole was constructed in Janyau Zamfara state to provide sustainable access to clean drinking water, reducing the burden of water scarcity in the community.

Accountability & Transparency

All funds received for this Ramadan program were utilized solely for the intended humanitarian activities. Procurement records, receipts, and field documentation are maintained by SJHO for the purpose of accountability and transparency.

 

Donors & Volunteers Appreciation

SJHO expresses sincere gratitude to the donors and volunteers whose generous contribution and efforts enabled the successful implementation of this Ramadan initiative. The support provided meals to the fasting, assisted vulnerable families, provide Qur’ans in mosque and delivered sustainable access to clean water.
